As a wedding DJ in Swan Valley, I’ve seen every type of wedding imaginable — but Kadence and Kyle’s on October 4, 2025, was something truly special. Despite cold rain and fall winds sweeping through Swan Valley, their love story — and their music — absolutely glowed.

Even the flower petals had meaning — they were made from every bouquet Kyle had ever given Kadence. It was one of the most beautiful symbolic gestures I’ve ever seen.
The ceremony concluded with “Still Falling for You” by Ellie Goulding, and honestly, it was hard to tell who wasn’t crying by that point (could have been the rain, however 🤷)
The Venue: Rainey Creek Estate in Swan Valley
The celebration took place at the breathtaking Rainey Creek Estate — one of Swan Valley’s most stunning mountain-view venues.
Set against the rolling hills and evergreen ridgelines of the Snake River Valley, Rainey Creek Estate is the definition of rustic elegance. The property offers an incredible blend of indoor warmth and outdoor beauty — perfect for both intimate ceremonies and large receptions.
A special thank-you goes to Erin Wright, the venue owner and event planner, who made everything seamless. Erin and her crew were phenomenal — professional, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. Every time I work at Rainey Creek Estate, I’m reminded why it’s quickly becoming one of Idaho’s most sought-after wedding venues.
Reception: From “Mine” to “Sparks Fly”
After the ceremony, guests warmed up with a cozy cocktail hour before heading into a gorgeous reception hall draped in fall colors. Dinner began with “Mine” by Taylor Swift, followed by a playlist stacked with timeless love songs and, of course, more Taylor.

Cold Sparks, Ground Fog, and a Dreamlike First Dance
While the theme of the night was all Taylor, we did add a little sparkle — literally. The couple wanted a cinematic touch with ground fog and cold sparks for their first dance, and it worked beautifully.
Huge shoutouts to Chris Davis of Wildfire Entertainment for renting me the cold spark units, and to Brad at Voltstar Productions for the fog machine. Both came through clutch, and the results were absolutely magical. Watching Kadence and Kyle dance through the fog to “Crazier” felt straight out of a music video.
A Perfect Ending to a Fairytale Night
By the time “Sparks Fly” played for their grand exit, the night had transformed into something truly unforgettable — elegant, emotional, and completely authentic to who Kadence and Kyle are as a couple.
