On September 13, 2025, I had the honor of DJing Ellen and Kevin’s wedding at the stunning Rendezvous Lodge on top of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in Teton Village.
A Venue Above the Clouds
The only way to reach the Rendezvous Lodge is by gondola — and let me tell you, it’s worth the ride. The views from the top are spectacular, stretching across the valley and the Tetons. I left my house two extra hours early just to account for the drive, gondola loading, and any surprises. The gondola staff were super helpful and made the whole load-in smooth.
Ceremony & Cocktail Hour
The ceremony kicked off right at 5:45 PM, outside on the mountain with a perfect view. The weather was a blessing — rain threatened in the valley below, but never touched us on the mountain. It was cool, crisp, and absolutely gorgeous.
Cocktail hour followed outdoors, where guests mingled before we moved inside to the second floor for the reception. The atmosphere was warm and inviting — exactly what you’d hope for at a mountain-top wedding.
Reception Energy
Ellen and Kevin gave me a solid music list, and I worked in a few of my own tracks to keep things flowing. The result? A packed dance floor from start to finish. Guests were engaged, fun, and respectful — exactly the kind of crowd every DJ hopes for.
