A Laid-Back, Fun-Filled Night in Downtown Idaho Falls
On April 26, I had the pleasure of DJing my first wedding of 2025—and it was a great one. Michael and Katelyn held their reception at The DEC (Downtown Event Center) in Idaho Falls, and I was honored to be part of it.
The vibe was simple, modest, and incredibly warm. The music was easygoing and perfectly suited for the crowd—nothing too flashy, just solid, fun selections that kept everyone in good spirits. There was a lot of dancing throughout the night, especially when the line dances hit. I DJed for just under four hours and had a blast the entire time.
This wedding was especially fun because there were a ton of kids on the dance floor. They were curious about my gear, loved the lights, and were full of energy all night long. The sound system filled the venue beautifully, and the uplighting added a great visual touch to the space.
One special surprise: the photographer was Angie Anderson—the same photographer who shot my own wedding. It was great to catch up with her and see her doing what she does best.
All in all, this was a fantastic way to kick off the 2025 wedding season. Michael and Katelyn, thank you for letting me be part of your celebration. Wishing you both nothing but the best!
