Quarter One in the Books: The Idahoan’s Q1 2025 Recap

2025 came in hot—and I have been in motion from the very start. From packed local gigs and livestreams to label signings and major event announcements, the first quarter has laid a solid foundation for what’s shaping up to be the biggest year yet. If you missed anything (or just want to relive the hype), here’s the full breakdown of what went down in Q1.

🔥 January: Birthday Beats and Scene Energy

We kicked off the year with Spaz’s Birthday Extravaganza at The Gem on January 18. This wild night featured a genre-bending blend of rap and EDM with stacked sets from IXN, TRAA x DISSY, Cookie Monsta 208, Spaztik, and more—including yours truly. The room was filled with raw energy and nonstop vibes, setting the tone for the months ahead.

🎧 February: Gigs, Setbacks, and Momentum

February had its highs and lows. On the 22nd, I played a closing EDM set at Trapped Angels in Pocatello at Misfitz. The energy was tight, the crowd stayed late, and it was one of those nights that reminds you why you do this in the first place.

Unfortunately, the Twin Falls edition of Trapped Angels on February 28th was canceled due to a venue policy issue—sometimes the red tape wins, but it lit a fire under us to come back even stronger.

🌱 March: The Awakening and Bigger Announcements

March 15th was a huge milestone. The Awakening, hosted by Atlantic Progression, was a breakthrough for the underground house music scene in Idaho Falls. With a headlining set from Discognition and support from NSZ, Sensei the Beast, Darqness, and myself, we delivered a deep, groove-heavy night that felt like the start of something bigger. The crowd? Fire. The vibe? Electric. The momentum? Unstoppable.

That same week, I officially announced my role as EDM support for The Kush and Kandi Tour featuring Brokencyde, Bayymack, E-stro, and more—set to go down April 20 at 360 Main Event Center in Twin Falls. Expect bass, chaos, kandi, and full-on rave madness.

And just to stack the deck a little higher—I also announced my booking at Konnexion Music Festival this June for their 10-year anniversary celebration. That one’s going to be legendary.

💽 New Music Incoming

On the production front, I’ve been cooking. Two big releases are locked in:

  • Presley (Original Mix) – dropping the first week of May via RH Music.
  • Wasted Thoughts EP – out May 9th on Prognosis, featuring remixes from Ranj Kaler and Michael Vitan. Two original tracks—Wasted Thoughts and 6 Feet and Counting—round out this sonic journey.

Plus, I’ve been commissioned to create custom music for a private party and their business—details on that will be revealed later this spring.

🕹️ Upcoming: Zelda Lore, Wedding Raves & Charity Streams

Looking ahead, we’ve got:

  • 🔺Triforce: The Fist of Power on May 3 at Misfitz – A Zelda-themed night of deep bass and dark energy with a lore-rich twist.
  • 🎆 3rd Annual Independence Day Charity Livestream – A goal of raising over $1,000 for Children International with sets from 13 killer DJs and full livestream coverage on Twitch and Mixcloud.
  • 💎 Gem State – my monthly Atlantic Progression residency show comes to The Gem in Idaho Falls for an Underground House Music event like no other. Mark your calendar for September 6th.
  • 💍 Till Death Do Us Part – My joint show with my wife, going down August 29, 2026. A wedding-themed rave with live ceremonies, acid house vs. bass, and a whole lot of weird love energy.

🚀 Wrapping Up Q1

From new bookings and epic sets to upcoming releases and festival milestones, Q1 2025 has been a whirlwind. I’m not slowing down – I’m just getting warmed up.

Stay tuned, stay locked in, and I’ll see you on the dancefloor.
